Deft Melange

Designing jewelry became a passion in grad school when I worked in a collectibles/vintage clothing store and fell in love with the buttons and pieces of old jewelry and watches that wound up in a .25 bin on the counter. I started making barrettes and pins for myself and friends out of the treasures, and the shop owner suggested that I sell them in the store. Twenty years later, I'm still at it, and have expanded my esthetic to include gemstones and pearls - with my Etsy shop Deft Melange.
